Healthcare Locums Plc v Urban Recruitment

The claimant had acquired a recruitment business by a share purchase agreement and now sought to restrain the use of its confidential information, including a confidential database, by ex-directors and employees of the acquired business, involved in a fledgling, competing business. The case included issues of the scope and enforceability of restrictive covenants given by the defendants, and the confidentiality of the information in the database.
